Best of the Cities Best

This is a work in progress and we will report the finding of a review from each county in Ohio (all 88 counties), who has the best programs for supporting family members on their journey as a family with Substance Use Disorder. If you are an agency of organization and provide services of treatment care then you will want us to know about your program.

HERE IS WHY:

This effort will be reported as it happens while we travel to each county. The findings will be gathered and reviewed while we are in your area. A meeting will be held to present our finding from your area. This will be collected by each of the four quadrants in Ohio.

After all four quadrants are visited, a consolidation of program findings will be analyzed and rated for effectiveness. The reader will find, good programs get a strong rating, poor programs or no programs will also be reported.

The information will be published and redistributed back to the counties for families to use as a reference guide in finding resources within their areas.

ALSO:

A recommendation will be sent to the organizations that participate in the county reviews. This will be a Bi-Annual publication.  Don't let your organization be passed by, contact us so we can include you to our visit schedule.  Call: 440.385.7605

Best of the Cities Best

In our review of programs from within each county we seek to find what works best and share it with all of Ohio. A sharing of knowledge in how to best serve the needs of Ohio families is our focus this initial will begin in Quadrant One on November 1, 2019.  From this problication a family will be empowered to go to their local city administrator and city council to assist them in developing family focused programs. A family will be able to go to their local school administrators and assist them in creating child resilience programs. A family will be able to go to their local faith organizations and assist them in creating a Family focused ministry from with their faith practices.

The Journey to Find Ohio's Best Programs for Family's

Who is the best in your county in providing support for your family members

On October 1, 2019 we begin

August 28, 2019

This will become the start of our journey through the tundra of Ohio, county by county to log and register the best practices of those services that focus on "The Family Members" for those families impacted by our drug epidemic.  We will call on Cities, Schools, and faith groups in each county to find who is doing what and why iti is working.  The same will be true for all of  our 88 counties, and those that have chosen not to do anything will also be identified.

This information will then be published and distributed to all counties as a reference guide for families to know where to find the Best of the Cities Bests in services that support them.... the best.

Rally in Dayton, Ohio August 25th Family's of Addicts FOA

September 2, 2019

Families Impacted by Opioids displayed at this open air event in downtown Dayton Sunday. It was well attended and we had several faith groups express an interest in the "Invest in the Family" ministry model. We will follow up with them to have a discovery introduction session and determine if there is a good fit. Also, there was an interest in two gov. agencies and a treatment center for the Family Solution Finder, Turn-key Learning seminars and The Abacus Disease Management Model for Substance Use Disorder. Altogether it was a good day to help others find content to help their organizations serve the needs of the family members.
